As a part of a selection process of a scholarship test i was supposed to write abt myself @ 50 - What would my close ones say abt me when i am 50.
after loads of folding and unfolding of gray cells in all corner of my brain ... I wrote the 1200 words of globe/crap in about 6 hrs. I feel it was the best i had ever written.
I just give an excerpt of the same, a part which i felt was the best one - that was 'what would my wife say about me on my 50th birthday' .. She says .. "
Being Nikhil's wife i feel that I know him the best !
His turning 50 is a big deal but I don’t think it really bothers him, as he is still young at heart.
He regards each year of his life as a bonus, to be lived to the full - and that one has to justify the existence to love more, to give more and to achieve more. He always used to say that when I turn 50 – “my interest will be in the future as that is where I am going to spend the rest of my life” and therefore he still dreams and dreams big but with open eyes. At times he got opportunities to realize his dreams and times it has been difficult, but he did pursue his goals and dreams with full vigour and perseverance.
He has been a partner for ever, some one you really trust and love. He is caring and makes sure that we nurture each other. He has given me his shoulders to stand on, to reach for my dreams, dreams I could have never reached without him. The way he looks at the world is so positive and so refreshing that I feel that even at 50 the desire to learn is kindling in him. He has seen failures in his personal as well as professional life but he has always learnt from them.
Of course, underneath it all Nikhil still has an imperfection or two. He still never puts things back in the same place where he found them and thus he can never find anything when he's looking for it. In fact, those little foibles are as much a part of him as everything else and these make me love him even more.
“Nikhil, Over the last 23 years, I have found you, and I will take you and the memory of you with me for the rest of my life.”

Why ? again
Terrorism – usually referred to as an unlawful use of force by some group of people.
Well, What is unlawful.. is there a definition which is valid in all countries. I guess not, as all countries have their own law. Is there a universal law? ( not the universal laws of physics ;) ) Begging in Australia is unlawful and not in India. Australia has a brothel – “Daily planet” listed in Stock exchange, having profits of 2 million $ in 2006, given best brothel award in 2004, 2005,2006 … such a thing imagine in India !!! So what is unlawful is itself a gray area!! Thus who defines the type “use of force” as unlawful?
Webster says – “Terrorism“ - The calculated use of violence (or threat of violence) against civilians in order to attain goals that are political or religious or ideological in nature; this is done through intimidation or coercion or instilling fear.
A country XYZ continuously monitors the state of all other countries in world. Says that only Democracy is the best way to govern, and forces it on other countries.. isnt it a way of instilling fear among civilians .. thus terrorism !
Same country dropped a little toy, millions of civilians had died because of that and millions are still suffering. Wasn’t that an act of terrorism. OR was it that terrorism was not defined that way then! OR is it that act of terrorism can only be done by third world countries.
This country XYZ, has been the only country on this earth which has ever used a nuclear weapon in a war, and also has a sum total of more than 80% of nuclear weapons on earth. Still it advices others to stay away from this nuclear weapon race!!
Some one has rightly said, “U can fight against terrorism, but u can’t find against XYZ”
So as a prejudice or as fear, whatever XYZ does is not terrorism !!!

Why ?
Its just a topic and not a blog !
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------
whom did God worship? What is HIS source of inspiration?
Who is HE working for? (if he is there) - For some other God? Nopes .. is the answer …
…. right ?
Can the answer be Mankind! Well that what many religions claim, God came to help mankind bring order in the chaotic earth. Thus God came to help mankind ! Why ?? Did he fear of non- existant of mankind.
Most of us fear God. Whom does HE fear? I think it should be man! Jus think iof this - What if all start disbelieving God? Isn’t that a threat to HIS world!!
What is world? - his democracy or his Aristocracy ? Democracy because, he leaves us at will to do anything we want. Aristocracy because we fear GOD.
Where is God now? According to shankaracharya, God does not exist … it is just a fear element among all of us so that we fear of each other.
If not him, then whom should we worship? Mankind would be the answer!
